Gonna try and get a couple of web links up so you can see where I walk. For those of you in south wales its just past Abergavenny/Llanfoist area.

No Skirrid piccies unfortunately but lets try the Blorange (shudder) and the Sugar Loaf:

as I said deceptively steep..............

I hope the links work!

Theres a trick to it...........lots of small steps and get your breathing right.......day dreaming of what goodies you can have when you get home..........hot bath...........feeling smug......and the fact that many of my clothes are a wee bit too big for me now!

I like the idea of clothes being too big! Can't have a bath in this house, boilers never worked properly since the onset of my IVA despite paying out £800 to have it fixed, we've given up on hot water ever again till we can afford a new boiler. Lucky we have an electric shower!

I love mountains - from a distance and from the bottom!

You won't get me climbing them![:D]

Same here Jan!

The only time I did try to climb anything I got to the top and realised it was the wrong one! We decided to climb Golden Cap, which is the highest cliff on the South Coast of England, and when we got to the top we realised that we'd taken the wrong turning out of the car park and Golden Cap was the next one along!

Not good!

I hate anything to do with climbing. It's fine for others but not for me!

It wouldn't have been so back but I was absolutely finished by the time I reached the top! I was overtaken by a couple of pensioners at one point!

No point in trying to keep it secret, Dave would be more than happy to share that with anyone!

I'm no good going up and moan all the way enjoy the view and then come down really quickly!

We climbed a mountain with a cafe at the top once in Greece can't remember where and it was such hard work, beautiful but hard work....all the way to the top, water for me, hubby ordered coffee thinking he was getting the strong greek type and out comes the jar of nescafe! kind of spoilt the moment!

The only time I have been to the top of a mountain has been via train and/or cable car in Switzerland, and road and cable car in Tenerife.

Two miles for me with the dogs this morning and it will be a shorter walk lunchtime (a lot shorter as it's currently raining here!) and then I'm off to work.
