Hi all - back again . Since my first creditors meeting, when I offered £230pm and the creditors asked for £350pm and Payplan advised me to go with it, I had a review three months ago. I calculated I could now only afford £165 and the creditors accepted it without question! It's a funny old world...

Anyway, more developments... I have been made redundant. Next Monday I am eligible to sign unemployed. I have received the equivalent of two months salary (wages/hol pay/redundancy pay) so I have paid my £165 to my IVA today and I can pay it again next month - what happens after that, assuming I am not back in work??

Hey snickersneeze, Sorry about your job. I'm sure that your IP will let you miss a couple of payments until you find a job, have you spoken to them yet, they won't want you to fail, do you have any jobs lined up at all? Viki X

i wouldnt worry too much the ip can sort a payment break whilst you find a job and add the missed months on at the end.

Sorry you've lost your job - fingers crossed you manage to get another one soon.

As the others have said, contact your IP, they should be able to help you.

Sorry you were made redundant and good news about the reduction to IVA

I would suggest that you tell your IP about your employment status, so everything is agreed if you can not manage to find another job soon.

Good luck in everything

Hi ther Rockbottom. sorry to here this.Let your IP know the situation asap, and see what options they can offer to help.? a payment break to give time to find another job. The obvious solution is to get another job as soon as you can, I wish you all the very best with that.
