Lol Foggy, Jan is usually the first person to post on topics isnt she..think thats why we all value her input so much! She's not a forum expert for nothing! :-)

And Harpic...addictive isnt it!! x

I count Jan and Harpic as good friends and she has been a brilliant friend to Skippy over the years.

I look forward to seeing Jan back on the forum where she belongs.

All the best Jan. I think you deserve an award for the commitment you have to the forum. Plenty of desperate people have benefited from your wisdom at all hours of the day and night and it's not even your job. Hopefully you will be back soon. I would send you some choccies to cheer you up but wouldn't know where to send them :-)

I've only just come across this post. I wanted to say that although I have never actually "met" Jan, I do regard her as somebody that I could speak to openly most probably about anything! I think that is what sets her apart, it's not that she is simply a moderator, more that she gives something of herself when she responds to each individual post. And more importantly that you as the poster feel this. She somehow possesses a capability to make this Forum a community. Of course there are others like her here but I must admit I always looked for Jan from an early stage of posting here. Less stalker, much more that she spoke complete and utter sense. It's a powerful thing to be able to reassure and reach people just by something that is typed out. We all miss you Jan and I hope to see you back here very soon. Harpic please pass on my love and best wishes to her X

We are both overwhelmed with the support from the posters on here who we consider true friends. Some we have met, others we hope to meet in the future and she'll be back as soon as possible.

Car1e is right though - there are other posters on here who do a sterling job and also deserve a big pat on the back and the support of everyone else on here.

I thought we were going to have to start a corrie style "free the black country one" campaign. We are all here for you when you get back on Jan.

Make sure you look after that girl Harpic, she is one in a million.

That's made us both smile Paul - she quite fancies being mentioned in PMQ's as Deidre was!!!
