Hi all,

I am currently 18 months into my IVA, whn i took out the arrangement I had a car which was bought via finance through santander consumer finance. my IVA company informed me that this was an unsecued loan and could be included in my IVA. I am pretty sure that there is an injunction on my car which stops me from selling it. Could anybody inform me on where I actually stand here as the car is currently not running well and I can definately see me having to spend a bit of money on it soon. Would I be able to sell the car and get another?

your thoughts would be much appreciated

HI Stu, I'm sorry I don't know the answer to this one but will keep it bumped up for a professional to answer x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

If the finance was an unsecured loan agreement then you are the legal owner and there should be nothing to stop you selling the agreement. Take a look at the actual agreement to be absolutely sure.
