a friend on mine debbie in a iva just got a contract phone with virgin mobile went though crecit checks and they accepted him

Thats because different companies use different criteria in credit checking. Lots of people on this forum have still managed to get savings accounts even with an IVA. Even if its one of the acounts that charge a monthly fee

Oh! they just bought my MBNA debt 1 week before my creditors meeting (1/10/07) I just received the letter from them yesterday. Hope they vote yes as they have a deciding vote!

hi maxdebt max recovery will always said yes they would have brought your debt for 10p in the £ of your creditors

a mate of mine had a loan plus credit card with mbna with 5k owing on them they brought the debt of mbna and voted yes at the creditors meeting

and only last week brought the debt of hfchousehold bank they now owe 75% of is debt

no problem maxdebt max recovery would not go around buying large chucks of debt unless they come out a winner and depends on what dividend they will get in a iva or dmp unlike if you go bankrupt they will get nothing out of it

I know that Skint I am just afraid to hope [:)] It's been a tough ride to get where we are today we nearly lost our home 6 weeks ago. Our proposal is low but realistic. 2 days to go :o/
