Well, Melanie exists ... people have seen and touched her :-) Though to be honest, the majority seem to hide away somewhere. In last firm, RSM, I managed to have a few "chats" with an IP, though not mine. With GT I have not had any contact with my IP, but have not felt the need to as the staff I have dealt with have been excellent and have dealt with my queries / problems very well, so far.

Ooops -- read it wrong -- didn't twig we were talking specifically GT's IP's -- I read "Do IP's exist" ---- more sleep needed :-)

hi.

i started my iva 2005/2006 and finished it in march 2010 and i am still waiting for my completion certificate which is a joke i should of just gone bankrupt and had done with it instead of still getting shafted,my car insurance is due august 4th and i just got a cracking deal but got shafted as i dont have a completion certificate so now i have to pay £90 a month to stay with a car insurance company who dont do a credit check.
im thinking why do i bother,i phone the insolvancy people and get told you should get it in 3mths absolute joke, phoning them tomorrow and telling them im contacting ombudsman enuff is enuff.

You need to contact their regulators -- the ombudsman won't be interested. And -- to get any joy from the regulators ( who appear unconcerned or unaware) you have to exhaust the company's internal complaints procedure.

Personally, I think anyone and everyone waiting for a completion certificate beyond the contractual 6 months should BOMBARD the companies, regulators, MP's and Jo Swinson MP all at the same time.

We need noise and lots of it.
