I knew that he would make it in the end Ang - Frugal Friends would not have been the same without Steve! Are you going to get him a set of deely boppers?

Ha ha Melanie do they make them big enough. He's bad enough without the deelyboppers.
It did take a bit of sorting. The prob was the driving laws dont allow him, with the hours he does, to work 2 saturdays in a row. It involved someone else swopping two of theirs for two of his. Everyone is honoured he doesnt usually make this much effort, it just shows how much he enjoys the meetings.

Watch it his deelyboppers definately wont fit.
I was so surprised, his first meeting was the debt debate in london and he really enjoyed that. Pulls a face now if he thinks he cant come.

? Are there anymore debates planned as yet, quite a while since the one in May.

I think that the debates have been put on hold for the moment Ang, and perhaps may be held just once per year in future.

Please send a great big thank you to Steve's colleague, for allowing one of the most genuine people I have met in a long time to be able to attend our little gathering. It made my day to read your post this morning - but I sort of knew he would swing it somehow.

Look forward to seeing you both in a couple of weeks.

Will do Melanie. He has swung back and forth like a yo yo, saying first he could then he couldnt . He didnt want to lose the overtime as it is due in the xmas wage and had asked others before and no one could figure out how to do it.
Still there was a way in the end.

There is certainly enough to be debating at the moment with all the credit crunch etc going on. So depressing the news, with all the forcasted repossesions and people struggling.

Thats fantastic Ang, although I have already had the pleasure of meeting Steve, he had most of his face covered up at the time as one of his eyes had sprung a leak.

Ha Ha Lily. He was exceptionally quiet and well behaved that day.
No leaky eyes now, the consultant sorted him out and removed the tube from his eye, so it is major improved. I got told off after for laughing, his face was a picture.

Ah, Ang, he was a sweetie, kept on bringing us lovely cups of tea and had a cheese sandwitch when we went out for a mixed grill and a Steak.

I am so glad Steve can pop in, he is so lovely.

he will be a nighmare in deely bopper thingys, Ang[:0]

He is so funny he had me laughing so much at the debt debate, and also he make a mean sandwich[:D]
Be positive & look after yourself, there are more important things in life than debts....

Best Wishes
