Hi Lyndseydn and welcome to the forum.

Unlike bankruptcy, IVA's are not placed in the local paper, but you would be on the insolvency register which is available for all to see if they want to.

Unless you work in a job that would be affected by you doing an IVA (some financial sector jobs for example), then your employers would not be told.

Hi Lyndsey and welcome. As Kallis says your employer will not know unless it is stipulated in your contract to inform them or they run annual credit checks.

The only other people who would find out would be anyone who is named on any debts. If you own a property jointly with a partner for example they will have to be informed or if you have a joint overdraft.
