Do you own a property? If so, was there an equity release involved?

I'm interested in the way that your income was split. Most cases of your size would I would suggest be interlocking IVAs where contributions and liabilities are "pooled". Yours appear to have been "split" and yet you have suggested that acceptance of one was dependent on acceptance of the other? The effect seems to be to convert 2 IVAs but one relatively small estate (total contributions £13440?)into 2 tiny ones.I am aware that Barclays see IVAs with very small contributions as very vulnerable to changes and wonder whether that has something to do with it.

By the way, what dividend did the proposals offer?

Thanks

Ian

Now that I don't understand.....

I thought all your creditors agreed?

Have Clearstart made any recommendations to you or have they abandoned you?

It sounds to me as if this was doomed from the start due to low payments, but you deserve an explanation and as both Clearstart and Barclays have signed up to the new protocal, you deserve better service than this.

Hi pisces girl

Sorry to hear of your situation, sounds like a nightmare for you.

As others have said ask Clearstart what can be done now, and failing that take another opinion on your circumstances.

Good luck

Then speak to one of the experts here. I think someone ought to talk to the organisation that voted. If we know why they rejected, who knows, there might be a solution. If not, then at least you will know why.

bl...y disgraceful.

I have watched this thread with interest as I have a couple of pals who work for Clearstart/DFD in the in house DMP department so I am very surprised that this alternative wasn't at least discussed with you before you were, in effect, shown the door.

I completely agree with Ian - and the number of complaints about this firm on the forum at the moment is significant.

I suggest you refer to another IP to obtain a second opinion.
