The structure and tone of the communication in itself does not represent good customer service and for that alone I would bring this to the attention of a senior member of the company.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I think I would not push this any more as the stress and strain on you must be horrendous. The people you are dealing with are the most unprofessional firm I have ever heard of. I would simply plod on with the extension as they won't get anymore than that no matter what they do. Let your family keep their well earned money in the bank. Once I had received my Completion Certificate and out of their clutches, I would then start my campaign of complaint, and would certainly aim to discredit the company who in my humble opinion have acted most appallingly.

Your IP is wrong not to put the variation forward. Let us know how you get on with the complaint. In the meantime you could always get a bit more time/contributions under your belt and offer another f&f further down the line...

You could always have a free half hour chat with a solicitor to see if they can help.

You are right the stress and unable to sleep. Not good. Wished I never went down the iva route and remortgaged. The impact of iva not Cleary made to me at the start. Also I'm sure thus as impacted my job applications. Just sold after 5yrs debt free.

I know it is stressful now, but the 18 months WILL soon pass and WILL see you debt free. The feeling when that Completion Certificate arrives is amazing. I must admit though, it seemed a lot clearer when I started my IVA in 2005. We had a 6 year IVA as we could not release equity either. Can't believe how some of the companies have changed in that time. We were with DFD and they were great... not so much now I fear.
Definitely continue with your complaints though, because it is becoming more obvious from the posts I read on here, that some companies do not explain the full conditions of the IVA and of course your obligations under an IVA from the outset. Not sure I would be able to cope with one now.

I know some specialist insolvency lawyers who might be able to help.

that would be great, maybe just mentioning their name in conference call may be the prompt to make them honour the t&cs

Okay do we have any telephone numbers for solicitors or names?
Also any ideas why they want to chat now, after the IP made in quite clear on Friday that he was not going call a meeting for my offer.
