i think you are assuming that peaple have a chose in whether they decide on br or iva, how do you know that those who chose br havn't already tried the iva route.

i have looked into the iva route and have been told by a colleague of a well respect expert on this forum that br was my best option as not enough imcome -- i feel that there is a definite air of supperiority with some on this site regarding them choosing iva.

SJW makes very good points. I would say that 75% of all people who end up being bankrupt would have avoided it if they could have been allowed to make some gesture of repayment to their creditors - so long as it was reasonable and within their means.

You could not offend anyone if you tried! Are you coming to the FF meeting on Saturday? I really do hope to meet you in person.

i know i can hold my head up high and say i went for an iva which was never viable from the beginning but with the courage and support form the forum i had to face a dark tunnel of which i knew nothing, yes i had to go BR not an easy option and i defy anyone who says it is, my iva was not accepted i lost a lot of money going down that route but now 2 years nearly later i am debt free, trying to rebuild my life, but yes if i had the chance i would have paid as much as reasonably practicable back, but the creditors said no!!

its not always choice that leads you to reason!
