I was contacted by Freeman Jones PPI team about 4 months ago. Apparently I have a cheque for £1340 which is not bound by my IVA. They said that it would be sent to me upon receipt of my mortgage statement which has been sent three times. I contacted them 2 weeks ago and they said that they would phone me back. I am still waiting for the call. What I want to know is.... why do they need a copy of the mortgage statement if the money is not bound by my IVA?? Also will I ever get the money back?? Really fed up with Freeman Jones they never reply to calls or texts.

It might be an idea to contact Sarah Jolly from FJ who has helped many of their clients on this forum. Her details are in the 'ask the experts' section and hopefully she can help you get this resolved.

Hi Denise.jw

I am sorry for the poor communication.

I have asked your Relationship Manager to call you today and explain why we have requested this information and answer any questions you have.

I hope this helps.
