Hi,
Have just come back from a holiday which for the first time in years I was able to enjoy without worrying about CC/loans ect. I cant believe it that it is almost a year since my IVA was approved, it has gone so quickly. Being debt free is a great feeling so for those of you who are in IVAs or thinking about sorting out your money problems it is worth hanging in there. It great when the phone rings and the person asks how much debt you have and you say you are debt free. They are quite often speechless.
Anyway on to the matter at hand it the time of year for paying the dreaded car insurance. As always it has gone up and as I am far more money aware these days . I do hunt round for cheaper quotes which there are quite a few but I am with the Co-OP and find their service very good but not cheap. I asked them if they could lower the price as they were around £100.00 more then some of the other quotes I had recieved. They tried but could only lower it my a few £s. They advised me to set myself up as a new customer and get a online quote. I tried this and was amazed to find that I saved £70.00 of the original quote. So if you do have any insurances due it might be worth trying to set yourself up as a new customer as they quite often get a better deal then those renewing.

Should be the same for renewing or new customers. That does annoy me!

Glad you had a good holiday, and well done for getting through the first year.

Mrs Whichwaynow and myself went to the northern part of Tenerife. The climate suites as better and for a summer holiday abroad its cheaper then a lot of places. Once again managed to save quite a bundle by not using a high street travel agent.

That's the great thing about having experienced a difficult financial time ... we get good at how to find the bargains!
