hi,
Can i ask which company you went with?
But i fear you didnt take the advice of this site
NEVER PAY UPFRONT FEES.
The IPs that have to get the IVA approved before they get paid, work a lot more quickly that one that are getting paid for sitting on your paperwork.
my iva took 49 days from 1st contact to creditors meeting and they got paid on the day of the creditors meeting.
be lucky

Do they give you the guarentee of your money back if IVA is not approved?
Is your case a complex one?
I really cant understand why its taking so long.

When did you contact James Falla? And which debt consultant are you dealing with? It may be worth contacting Ollie who regularly posts on this site. I'm sure they would not like to think they were getting negative comments on this forum.

Hi the debt consultant is Sabina Hussain/Rehman and the last contact we had from her was 20th february which was an automated e-mail, we did complain to James Falla regarding this person about the same time to say that we weren't happy with the service as we find it hard to get any information regarding our case, he said he would look into it, no reply received, my husband has phoned him twice last week (wed 7th and fri 9th) he was advised that he wasn't in (okay he might be on holiday) but we can't get any info on our case so we don't know if it is a complex one or not. Yes we do get a guarantee if the IVA is not approved. I do not wish to give out negative comments but we just want some information regarding the procedures. So if Ollie is on line PLEASE reply. (Sorry but don't wish to upset anyone who is thinking of using Thomas Charles)

Thanks Suzz

Hello Suzz

Sorry for the late reply, I was away from the office for a few days last week. I am terribly sorry to hear that your case has become stalled and that you are having difficulty contacting your Debt Adviser. I am saddened that our standard of service seems to have fallen short of our own high expectations on this occasion. Please feel free to contact the office today on 0800-072-5988 and ask for me. Once I have your full name (please do not post this on the forum) and reference number I will take personal responsibility in assisting you.

Kind Regards

Oliver
