THANX SKIP YOURE A PAL I AM ON THE ROLL.
IM WONDERING THOUGH WHETHER TO PERSUE LLOYDS OR NOT IN CASE COOP SAY NO.
LLOYDS HAVE YES TO A CURRENT ACCOUNT BUT KNOWING MY LUCK IF I DO AN IVA THEYLL FIND OUT ABOUT MY LARGE HALIFAX DEBT AND BIN ME
You could always open both, then if Lloyds do close the account you've got the Co-op account to fall back on. I would definitely give Lloyds a try as it's a full current account.
GOOD EVENING ALL. WELL IVE FINALLY FOUND SOMEONE TO GIVE ME A PROFESSIONAL REFERENCE-FREE-I KNOW THEM V WELL-SO I CAN MAKE HEADWAY WITH TRYING TO GET LLOYDS ACCOUNT-NO WORD FROM CO-OP YET. I REALLY WANT TO DO AN IVA BUT IM TERRIFIED I WILL BE REJECTED OR THEY WONT BE ABLE TO HELP. IM STUCK N VERY WORRIED
Wouldn't be good if the High Street Banks would publicly state if they will open accounts for people in IVA's and BR. It just seems so hit and miss at the moment.
Hope the Co-op get back to you soon Fergie

Nothing you can buy feels as good as not being in debt.
Good news with Lloyds Fergie. Lets hope the Co-op come up trumps as well.

The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.

You might also consider a pre-paid debit card that has bill payment functionality. Whilst you have to provide for ID details of either your passport(current) or driving license this might be more appropriate. Good luck.
Sorry David, but I have deleted one of your sentences as I think that will be classed as touting for business.
