IM WONDERING THOUGH WHETHER TO PERSUE LLOYDS OR NOT IN CASE COOP SAY NO.
LLOYDS HAVE YES TO A CURRENT ACCOUNT BUT KNOWING MY LUCK IF I DO AN IVA THEYLL FIND OUT ABOUT MY LARGE HALIFAX DEBT AND BIN ME

You could always open both, then if Lloyds do close the account you've got the Co-op account to fall back on. I would definitely give Lloyds a try as it's a full current account.

As they are continuing to run the two companies as two separate banks, I do not feel that you have a problem with this to be frank.

GOOD EVENING ALL. WELL IVE FINALLY FOUND SOMEONE TO GIVE ME A PROFESSIONAL REFERENCE-FREE-I KNOW THEM V WELL-SO I CAN MAKE HEADWAY WITH TRYING TO GET LLOYDS ACCOUNT-NO WORD FROM CO-OP YET. I REALLY WANT TO DO AN IVA BUT IM TERRIFIED I WILL BE REJECTED OR THEY WONT BE ABLE TO HELP. IM STUCK N VERY WORRIED :(

Co-op took 3 weeks after I applied to get back to me. I got the account but it does take a while sometines

Wouldn't be good if the High Street Banks would publicly state if they will open accounts for people in IVA's and BR. It just seems so hit and miss at the moment.

You might also consider a pre-paid debit card that has bill payment functionality. Whilst you have to provide for ID details of either your passport(current) or driving license this might be more appropriate. Good luck.
