My partner currently has about four years left on his IVA and we are in process of looking into moving out of our parent's places into our own rented property. Will rental agents accept an IVA as we haven't had any luck so far and I can't afford to move into a property on my own?

Hi there and welcome to the forum

Your partner's IVA will definately show up on a credit check, so it might be better to tell the letting agents about this and find someone to guarantee the payments - ie a parent. Some letting agents will be less choosy, but you may be better off finding a private landlore who is less likely to formally credit check you both.

You could also take the lease out in your own name, with permission to move another party in at a later stage.
