Will the IVA drop off my credit report 6 years after the start date? Mine was 15/01/2015 so I’m expecting it to disappear from my credit file on 15/01/2021 so we can apply for a mortgage on a shared ownership house we’ve reserved.

Yes it will --- also check that any defaults are dated correctly, so that they drop off too.

Thank you. So when I check my file on 16/1/21 it should no longer be there? :D

That's the theory -- it usually happens on the dot, although my defaults, which were dated a few weeks apart all dropped off as well -- a little earlier than they should. Be aware though that the files you check via the likes of Clearscore et al can be up to 56 days in arrears, but the live report the creditors see should update right on time, as would any statutory report you order.

Yes, both IVAs and CCJs have a 6-year duration. Once this period is over, it will be removed from your file.
