Do creditors normally take 100% of a windfall or if we asked if we could keep some for car repairs etc..?? would they let us keep some? we are struggling so bad to keep up the payments.

Hi Lottie,

If you need to keep some back for essential things then tell your IP and I'm sure they will accommodate you.

If you are struggling so badly then ask if you can have your payments lowered and submit a new I&E. You should be able to live whilst in an IVA.
