Peolpe are forever getting desciplined at my work for apparently not reading through the intranet properly?? I'd love to know when I had time at work to read the intranet - if only.

I hope you are okay xx

No union. The thing that really gets me is that they called me dishonest. I went into the disciplinary meeting and they started straight away to attack. I forgot to tell them one of my debts also they kept on and on asking for the date that I started to have problems. The first few times I told them I wasn't 100% sure and they said that wasn't good enough so I told them the month I thought it was. I made a point of saying I think. They then asked for a break and when I went back they asked the same questions again again. Then all of a sudden they had my credit report which they said had just arrived and they didn't think they would have it for the meeting. On the report it stated that I had defaulted a month earlier than I had said and also mention Ace catalogue which I had forgotten about. So not only gross misconduct but dishonest as well.

Appalling behaviour - and I hope that smr is around at some stage to offer you some advice and support. We will have a chat about the effect this will have on your IVA application over the next day or so - please call the office when you feel able to talk.
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner

They don't tell you when things are updated either.

WOW!!!! They had your credit report, did you give them permission to get that, if you did not then they are in BIG Trouble. Please get some advice, they have not got the right to do a search without your permission.
We're willing to wipe the slate clean, give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation.

I know! I had a minor disagreement 4yrs ago at my place of work. It was horrible - just as you discribed constant unrelenting questions telling me it was my responsibility to read the intranet etc etc. It made it worse cause of where I work. Hopefully these incidents are not very common. Try and keep smiling - easier said than done. x

This too was in the call centre. It's the type of business I think, the temptation thing I suppose. Not saying you would get tempted though.

Even if I had been tempted there would have been no way to do anything.

Ah right. The bit I worked in was transfering money setting up loans etc. I should have known then really re the debt thing. Now I'm on the other side of it. We used to have 'team' meetings about upselling and human resource issues (more like warning us that somebody else had left under a cloud). It is rubbish what has happened to you-it should never have been allowed. If you felt how I feel now then it will have taken everything you had to face and start dealing with it. x

I was transferring money as well but the way the account works it can only go from one account to another. Funds can't move to any external accounts that haven't been proved to be the customers.
