Well finally had something from dfd today, no not my completion cert but the final statement show what has been paid and what's still in the bank.... Most annoyingly is the word "ongoing" next to ppi which means it's now been ongoing for 14 months as I sent the forms yonks ago

Rather unimpressed

no timescale given Mel just the usual "could take upto 6 months"

Hi Claire

since i paid my last contribution the only thing i have received was a final payments breakdown showing what i had paid, PPI's and what was still in the bank (£3500 still at bank)

Congrats on getting this far :) x

If no ppi outstanding then hopefully a swift closure can be achieved...good luck!

little update...emailed friday asking for progress and got this email today

Good Morning Peter,

Many Thanks for your email. I am currently chasing up for an update on your case and they are currently finalizing the claims to ensure that the correct funds are distributed to your creditors. As soon as the claim team gets back to me I will update you.

I’m sorry for the delay in your case but I can ensure that your case is being progressed.

Thanks

Hi PWW - considering it was BH Monday then that is a good response time and at least you've had an answer that it is being chased up - hopefully it will not be long before the claims are finalised and the claims team can give a better indication of timescales - fingers crossed :-)

Hi pww
I would contact anyone from evette or judith team to chase your conpletion. I had a variation to deal with mine in aug then had regular contact in Sept as ppi offer came in and they continued to chase the status of closure.
This ia the thing that seems so unfair and makes you feel guilty cos ive got my cc but im one of the very very lucky ones and its not fair that everyone doesn't get the same.

Fingers crossed foe u.

Why not give them a call and ask to speak with your IP directly?
