Hey,

I started my IVA in 2014, I received my first review in 2015 which i completed & returned, I heard nothing back. I emailed them to say that i hadn't heard back from them & also emailed them my new contact details. Last year i sent all the same details again for my 2016 review although i still hadn't been contacted & have heard nothing back.

On Monday I contacted them as I am having car trouble (car is completely knackered) & wanted advice on if they would approve credit, I've been told that they will take at least 2 weeks to contact me. They hadn't received my reviews or updated my new contact details (I've resubmitted the emails, thankfully kept them) , i'm in desperate need of a car as i need in to get the children to child care & to travel to work & i'm worried sick with it all.

Are DFD always this bad at contact? does anyone know how I could possibly speak to someone quickly rather than wait a full 2 weeks as I am doubtful that i will receive contact from anyone!

Thanks in advance for your help.

x

Laura Harrop from DFD often reads the forum and will, hopefully respond. We have a couple of email addresses for her, but they have been coming back as non functioning --- last report was that she was going to check with her IT department.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Does not sound like DFD that I know and experienced - they were always on the ball and very responsive.
Thank goodness you have the emails to show the actions taken at your end.
I would contact them again and insist you speak to your IP not a caseworker and follow this conversation up in writing for your records. You clearly need a break to be able to source a new vehicle that will get you from A to B and you need that support now. Am really surprised at the lack.of service you are receiving from them.

Thanks for responding luluJ, I rang again this morning & was told that I can't speak to my IP & that I would need to wait for a case worker to call me back, they have said that they would flag it as urgent, this is very frustrating!

Well I finally got a call back this morning but unfortunately i was driving so couldn't take it. I called them straight back, was in a que for 30 minutes to be told that they couldn't put me through to the person that called me & that they would leave a message for them to call me back within 48 hours. I actually cried to the poor lady on the phone! This has been the most stressful 2 weeks, I cannot believe what i have had to go through to speak to someone!

Contact them again and give them a time when they can contact you.
