Hi Rupert,

I think the simplest advice would be not to enter an IVA that you cannot afford.

If there's a viable IVA option provided by a particular IP then you have an option. If you monitor the situation and it becomes clear that the HSBC hurdle rate has changed in your favour you could proceed with more confidence.

Hi
If you can increase your disposible income then you can go with whoever you want to.
If you are stuck with £500 per month then I would approach ClearStart,a very large IVA provider.

Interesting to read this update, yet if you look at 'rattbags'posting concerning HSBC (today), he/she refers to the fact of HSBC being the main creditor and seemingly accepting a less than 40p in the £ proposal.
