helloo once again to all.. my creditors meeting is nearly approaching,,that is on monday the 8th of january, 2007,has any of you had HFC as one of the creditor.. since i've phoned them months ago and sent letters to them explaining my financial difficulties, i haven't heard from them no letters asking for payment no phone call from them either..the creditors that keep haunting me most of the time are natwest, capital one, barclays, nationwide,..i'm just curious why HFC is so quiet..
anyway at this point of time of course stress is really getting me due to the creditors meeting i do hope those creditors of mine give me a good start for the new year for a straight forward way of paying my debts..i know they are not happy but hoping from them a kind consideration...

Good news, all the creditors you have mentioned (baring Barclays who usually don't vote at all, which is obviously better than a no vote) are usually happy to accept an IVA as long as it puts them in a better position than bankruptcy.

Hello,

In my experience I have not had any trouble with the creditors mentioned below.

Your creditors will be comparing your IVA application to bankruptcy so as Oliver stated as long as it puts them in a better position you should be fine.

Please do keep posting and good luck for your meeting on the 8th.

Hope this information is of use

Hi one of my creditors is Nat West and they voted yes them and RBS (tesco Personal Finance) were the only voters out of six

And I have also heard Nationwide always vote yes

Good Luck

I wouldn't go so far as to say that Nationwide always vote yes. Nationwide definitely are open to IVA proposals and will often say yes where they receive a minimum dividend of 25p in the £ and where they are put in a better position than Bankruptcy. However, if Nationwide feel that a person should offer more (i.e they don't agree that the expenditure budgets are reasonable) they will vote no.
