All 3 of us were going to run it but at the minute I think the only one fit to run is my daughter! KandH has a health problem and I went to the Dr's just yesterday about this constant pain in my calf which I thought was an injury through training and he thinks it could be a trapped nerve, referred me to an orthorpaedic specialist and given me 12hr pain killers! The dosage instructions made me laugh says take two every evening upon retiring (I'm 46!) Got a blood test to rule out diabetes on Wednesday as my brother lost both legs through diabetes at 43! He did ask if diabetes was in the family. I don't limp but just in constant pain, you can touch it poke it prod it and it doesn't hurt, just a constant burning, stretching feeling if I don't have pain killers. So I guess we'll be walking although daughter is as fit as a fiddle so I guess she'll run it and leave me and KandH behind!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

My favourite collection story.

Years ago I worked at Amex and a team leader was leaving. The manager started off the collection with a tenner. It went round the entire office of about 50 people and came back with almost 50 messages on the card but only £8.72 in the envelope. I think a few people must have thought she owed them lunch for the pressure she'd put them under.

At least I'm brave enough these days to say I didn't like the person and pass it on. They're leaving anyway and it saves a fortune.

Wish I'd always been this mean

Thank you, I took my sponsor forms (mine and daughters) to work and put them near to register and I have £50 of sponsor just this week, I don't ask people they seem to just offer, which is nice. I think we'll probably make near to £200 by the time I have asked my family and put a little bit on for myself.
