Hi
Just a quick question!
I've just had to get some new glasses. It turns out that work will pay for the eye test and £30 towards lenses. So at the end of this month I'll have £50 paid in expenses within my wage. I currently pay 50% of part of my bonus extra. Am I right in thinking that as this is for expenses I would keep it all rather than 50%?

Hi
Yes,I'm sure that your IP will agree to you keeping this as you have incurred expense in paying for the eye test and lenses.Drop them an email just to confirm

Agree with Andy, your IP will not ask for this money, but it is worth keeping the receipt just incase it is questioned.

If the money is detailed on your wage-slip as recovery of expenses, the IP has no right to include this in the 50% uplift calculation.
