Hi there, just an update, have been told various different routes to take, one was a blatant BR option without really giving an IVA a second thought.
I have now found someone who I have complete confidence in as does my wife, although she is not insolvent and therfore not looking into an IVA or BR but as a team we feel confident.
I intend to have my papers off and looked into asap, and obviously will keep you informed as to how it is going.....
Thanks once again
Wuffy, I'm in an IVA whereas my other half is not, as she wasn't/isn't insolvent - sounds similar to your situation. We combine our income and expenditure in our I&E to derive at the IVA payment and it works brilliantly.
Debt problems, what debt problems? I'm not in De Thames, I'm in De Nile.
silly question (and not the best way to look at it) but if my IVA offer is rejected, that would mean I would have to look into BR in which case the creditors will get even less over a shorter period of time ????
If that is correct then I really dont understand why they would reject it, I am more than willing to pay just unfortunately I cannot repay the full amount...
OK I think Im just thinking about my very large debt again, I am sure it will be ok.
thats my delemer(sp) aswell if im refused an iva i cant see an alternative to br. i am hoping though that everything goes ok and ill be accepted. as i do want to pay it back rather than going br
You don't have to do bankruptcy - you can think about doing a debt management plan. It can be a temporary one while you think about proposing an IVA again further down the line.

....and me....I'm getting scared again now....roll on Monday when I can go through it all with Mel and see what she thinks of the I/E as it stands at the moment.
7 year IVA completed in December 2016 - there is light at the end of that tunnel
I am sure you will be fine Cath, and Mel is lovely.

try not to worry Cath (easier said than done) - Melanie is brilliant and what is more she lives in the real world. If anyone can help you she can and will
I'm glad you feel more postive today. I am sure that things will be ok.
