Well, I have opened my co-op account and have set up direct debits for the payments I do not want to default on and have notified my company to pay my wages into this account.
Because it was too late to change my wages going into my account this month and I am too chicken to go into the branch to draw it out I am taking it out by cashpoint (£300 per day limit)
There are some Direct Debits that I still need to cancel / transfer to my co-op account but can't do this until next week as payments are due Monday so was too late to change.
Once I have done this I will be in my over draught - I am doing the right thing arnt I ?

Yes, John. You have to get set up in good time. It is a bit "secret squirrel", but has to be done. Hopefully, you wil also manage to save a little for emergencies before the IVA starts.

I wish I could say that, from then on, it will be all plain sailing. There will be choppy seas, but, with the help and support of your IP and all of us here, you will get through it.

Remember, the key thing is to communicate with your IP, or handler all of the time.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

John - I remember how I felt when we were at your stage. I also went to the cashpoint each day until all the money was withdrawn.

YOu know the debt problem has to be tackled - you're doing the best thing for you. We have not regretted our decision for a moment.

I used to withdraw money from the cashpoint on my credit card and then pay it straigh back across as my minimum payment! How bad is that?

They should have had it by now. Speak to them again - if needs be they will have to send you out another pack and this time I'd make sure that it goes recorded delivery.

Don't worry about the letter - it's totally standard and you will get lots of them. Just forward them on to your IP company.

Yea, I will request another pack to be sent tomorrow.
They said they have been having issues with delayed post lately (I think the post service there uses donkeys instead of cars lol)

It's just so annoying :/
I can't rest until I know it's been approved - by the time I receive another pack, return it etc it will take that much longer.
Oh well, nothing I can do about it, just got to start again

Let's hope that the original has got there but is delayed internally for some reason.
