I have recently entered into an IVA, i am due to get married next month and wish to move away with my partner as he is re joining the army so i will be living on base with him. I will be finding a new job before moving so will be able to keep up with payments but i am worried that my iva will affect my partner in any way.

My IVA currently does not affect my partner, how ever we are getting married at the end of the year and i have been told this could now possibly affect her credit rating - i think its wrong, but their is nothing i can do about it.

If you are moving into married quarters, then presumably this will have some effect on your disposable income - given thatyou will be sharing the bills with your new husband in the same ratio as your earnings. Your IP will want to reassess your income and expenditure following the move, but this will not affect your partner's credit rating.
