no i sent in my new proposal last week and am waiting for a decision on it still i called to day to say i can introduce my car finance earlier to make the proposal more attractive to creditors. Iwas told i wouldnt be able to get that proposal agreed to and in regards to my car finance being introduced early i would need a variation meeting

Why is Accuma getting bad postings lately?I read Becky's review and it seems that most IP's have a "brick wall" surrounding them.I wonder how many are aware that their own staff are undermining their credibility in the way they handle clients. They all need a shake up and be trained to realise that the IP is not a figurehead and that they are there to provide a service.

OK - in defence of IP's, we are the top of the tree and very busy, hence we employ generally dedicated and well-trained staff to help us with the day to day running of the cases.

Most of the time this means that our managers and staff are ably in a position to deal with client queries, but occasionally there will be the need for a direct opinion or decision from the IP themselves. As I suspected, as soon as this particular IP got notice that his client was having difficulties is reaching him - his response was immediate.

Hi,
Yes I agree that most IPs would respond if they KNEW what was going on.How many more Beckys are out there being fobbed off by self important "assistants"

Hi
It will be interesting to see if the advice Becky gets is the same that she was given by the assistant.

Andy - the "power of the forum" never ceases to amaze me, and if it keeps assisting people in debt, the creditors and my profession to work more closely together I think that it great! I feel that this identifies more of a need for quality training in IP's offices more than anything.

ok Ive just spoken to my IP he was very helpful and offered me good advice and explained everything to me. So now I'm going to try and maintain my payments by selling my car and using the money i save from not payin out the finance to help me make the agreed payments then in 2009 when my car finance is scheduled to be introduced into the iva we will review my status again and maybe then go for a variation.Im so relieved and thanks to Andrew from Accuma for his guidance and advice.
