i have a loan outstanding with Nationwide Trust as part of my outstanding debt, who are part of Nationwide. My bank account is with Nationwide. Would i still have to change my account before considering an IVA?

If you go for an iva you will need to change your account to a basic one and one not connected to your creditors. This is os your wages go into somewhere else so that they cannot hold your money, it also needs to be basic as no credit allowed so no cheque book.
