I am in a IVA, but have had to move due to family health issues and getting better support. As a result i am travelling nearly 180 miles a day for work. This is costing quite a bit in fuel and to be honest, i am struggling to find the money. Would it be a idea for me to be looking at BR and reduce my monthly out goings to enable me to work ? Dont know what to do, any advice would be good

Hi
The first port of call is to speak with your IP and explain the situation. It may be that they can propose a variation meeting to reduce your monthly payments.

Hi drwho

Can I ask the level of payment required by your IVA, and the amount you owe to unsecured creditors. Also do you own any property which has equity currently?
