Hi there and welcome to the forum

You would need an income to maintain an iva, Would you receive maternity pay, would you be returning to work. The best thing to do is to talk to an insolvenc practioner and get advice on all the options avaliable to you.
Melanie Giles who posts on the forum comes well recommended and would be a good place to start, or you can get reviews on all the compnaies and ip's on iva.com. All the best and keep posting and let us know how thigs go and ask any questions you need.

It may be possible for you to propose an IVA, but as your income and expendutire is bound to be a little disturbed by the arrival of the little one, you might be better off entering into a DMP until you decide whether you are returning to work and, if so, what the cost of childcare is likely to be.
