At £14,000 Viki, they wouldn't be eligible for an IVA.

look_divine, you pay what you can afford into an IVA, doesn't matter that it isn't £600. I pay just over £300 a month into mine.
can i ask how much you owed ?
please state stop being nosy if you want :)

Hi All

I thought pension contributions were protected from being part of the IVA payments?

I think if your pension contributions are taken out of your salary at source they are ok. That's what I was told and I am still making my contributions.

If it is a pension you are paying into outside of work, I'm not sure. Melanie would probably be the best one to answer that.

Sorr look_divine - half asleep! I've just noticed your question, and sorry for being so late replying!

I don't mind you asking.

In total, hubby and I had about £83,000 in debts. Three were joint debts (HSBC loan, Direct Line Loan, Halifax loan), the others were all mine (2 store cards and 4 credit cards) plus the bank overdraft.

I pay £375 per month, and hubby pays £240 per month.
