Hi,

What a result, lost 5 pounds since last thursday, there is a plus side to this IVA business after all!! [:D]

Doubt wether hubby will notice though the pressure of it all seems to be getting to the both of us and we are arguing over the slightest of things. I know when we get through the other side our relationship will be ok (I hope!!)

It's great to let off a bit of steam on here and thanks to everyone so far for your support.

Trina x

Hi Trina, pre-IVA husband and I would argue over the time of day, for some reason I wanted to talk IVA 24/7 and he didn't, I told him he didn't care etc., but he did, just didn't need to eat, sleep, breathe it. We're ok again now and plod along day by day. I just talk it on here and find it very therapeutic

Great weight loss though, mind you don't lose too much.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Our lack of funds for takeaways has certainly helped my weight come down. That and buying cheap chocolate(puts me off eating it!!)
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.

Fortunately we have only had one major bust up since all this started - it was my fault for worrying and pretending I wasn't and then him looking at me in the wrong way - yes I said it 'looking'....unfortunately it was a day which Melanie was giving us a call and we weren't talking. We got through it as he ended up feeling sorry for me cause I cried all the way through the call lol......

As for being a good dieting tool - I agree on the main but having been laid up for a week I think I have gained most of mine again [:(]

We've always been ok, but we don't argue anyhow really. Hubby felt as if it was his fault, think that was a hunter-gatherer thing! lol.
I've been trying to lose weight and it's finally started to come off....the fact I've stopped eating rubbish has helped....haha
It's nice to be back......

I must admit, i too talked IVA 24/7 and that caused rows between us.
I desperately wanted a way out, even though i knew my worrying was causing the problems.
We hardly slept in the same bed as i was always downstairs with my worry head on.
You will all get through it im sure and the end result is so worth it.
Some of you already know, when i was diagnosed with MS i lost weight very rapidly (over 3 stone) and was given build up drinks, which were like sucking sick up a straw so i never drank them.
My weight now is very stable, although still quite low (size 8) but at least now i actually eat.
I know hearing that perhaps isnt a lot of help to those trying to lose weight but i just want you all to know that i will be egging you on all the way.
I really really hope you all get the result you want.
I cant give you any tips as my weight was only lost through illness and chaemotherapy but i can give you moral support.
