To be quite honest Melanie with the amount of Praise and advertising on this site that you receive I wouldn't have thought you would have been to worried.
Trouble is onechance we ask new posters to look at the reviews at www.iva.com and they probably would not have seen all the praise that Melanie gets. It is a great place to look to see how people feel about thier IP's for new postres to get a feel of who is right for them even if that IP doesn't post on the forum. The forum then can be used to ask your own questions but I do feel a review is a very good way of getting accurate info on suitable IP companies.

I wish I'd waited to write a review - I was quite complimentary about the company I used as I did it straight away before I had any problems. I've since written another one, which wasn't quite so pleasant!
I think we could all write several reviews, the first could be about the initial IVA set up, future ones could be about how annual reviews have been handled and also reviews on completion of the IVA. This would then give a full picture for new people looking at IVA options.

Not wishing to disagree with you IVAS4US but if you google the word IVA.
The 4th one down is the forum.
The first thing anyone does in this situation is google IVA.
Thats how I found this site.
Again I know that Melanie gives excellent advice to all and I have benefitted however there is a point were that advice could be seen as touting for business and that might be the reason the reviews are not being posted.
I appreciate that as far as we are concerned that is not the case as all she appears to do is try and help us all no matter who we are with and as i have already said I have benefited greatly from her advice.
But I am sure there are many I/p 's out there who are concerned.
It's only fourth because the other links are sponsored ones and ours aren't.
I really can't see how it is touting for business for people to put reviews on about the service they have had from their IP's, whether positive or negative.
There are a lot of other firms on iva.com who have positive results as well and posters have used them.
This is why I always recommend that people visit iva.com - they can decide for themselves from looking at the reviews which company they want to phone - and they are always advised to phone a couple before making a decision.

Melanie helps a lot of people on the forum, many of whom aren't her clients. I don't see how it could be construed as touting for business if people write reviews about their IP, as you would only do it for your own IP.

matt3786 was advised to look at www.iva.com but his question was specific to a local IP and the advice given was to speak to a great IP that was local to him.

Sorry Skippy I have to disagree please read it carefully.
He was speaking with Michael who advised him to go to IVA.com.
Also pointed out to him if it was a simple IVA then he could use anyone as most are dealt with by phone.
Which was the proper advice.
Its only when Melanie asks the question about what part of wales are you from and then mentions Cardiff.
To be fair to Melanie she even says I am in trouble for this.
