Hi
Go for it Hara.
I think that the average person would be very interested in reading stories about debt and how it affects family and friends

Sharing from experiences of dealing with debt

Hi Hara
I know memory that you are in a very responsible and high profile job[in your field of expertise]so it may be prudent to write under a pseudonym initially
Good luck
I wouldnt do it, these things have a way of getting out, like who you really are and what you do. Its not worth even a million pounds, just my opinion though. I feel privacy and a private life is a priceless thing.
everything always gets leaked in the papers come on how many people give interviews etc by alias and next few days there real identity comes out even the rich and famous get named
Exactly and some of these papers wouldnt print the truth under truth serum.
If youre famous and in debt, yes, it wouldnt really matter would it?? If you dont want someone to know your details, you wouldnt approach the tabloids, like scandals are us, err keep this secret but..... yeah right, of course we will.
If you wanted to write something under another name in order to promote IVA's or my life in an IVA, etc, thats different, its valuable and interesting.

Sometimes writing one's story can be a very cathartic and therapeutic experience Hara ... but whether to go for publication which might identify you is quite another story! Lily makes some very valid points.
Have you thought about beginning to write your story but starting your own blog here on the Forum. It would certainly be a good starting point to tell your story and to help others in doing so [:)]
I wouldn't bother either. I know that the papers and magazines very rarely, if ever, even let you publish your story under a pseudonym. They also pay only £500 or so to 'normal' people for their stories. They are interested in celebs getting into a finacial mess...not the likes of you or I. They would want to know your name, age, occupation - all the sorts of things you really don't want splashed across the pages for all to see.
As has been suggested you could simply blog on here as a cathartic exercise.
