Me and hubby live on an estate that is mainly council. This estate is run by a TMO (tenant management oragnisation). It means some of the council tenants sit on the board and make decisions regarding things that happen, repairs, finances etc. So, me and hubby are board/committee members.
Anyways, as its voluntary we don't get anything at all. We can't join in the competitions that they run, etc.
Anyways, as this is our first year we didn't know, the council pay for the committee members to go out for a christmas meal. [:D][:D][:D] So,on 1st December we are off for a 3 course meal, for freeeeeeeeeee! [:D][:D] And my mouth is now watering at the thought of this. [:)]
