Congratulations from me too.

Mine was accepted today too, although with an uplift, had to cancel my mortgage protection and critical illness insurance. I was expecting to so not too much of a shock.

Oh brilliant MRsbee and Lovehope, great stuff. three of us onthe same road.

Lol Lesly, I got your reply, thankyou.

Melanie I am so so grateful to you and your team, I've always been a worrier and yes this did stress me quite a bit, probably more than it should have done, but thats my nature, I am so so happy at todays result.

I keep having moments where I am thinking 'what do I need to do now' then I think 'oh, nothing, its all done' LOL

Nick i was only in school this afternoon, I was supposed to have christmas dinner today though but cancelled it so i could be at home for the call, just in case it didn't come thru before I should have left home. Not bothered though, there's always next year. this one of the most important days ever.

And of course when I went in i was already in a good mood which rubbed off on playing with kids, some of which are great, love being in class.

When you read your early posts on the forum, it is such a delight to see you posting with such enthusiasm today. Keep it up Karin, the forum needs you!

Hi Karin,
I'm still at the first stage and hopefully the proposal team will be able to get started on my proposal before Christmas. I'm also with Melanie's team and they've been great with me too. Your positive posts and the success that everyone is having under Melanie's wing is so heartening.

I'm not looking forward to my C day if it's a school day. I can't take my eye off the ball for one moment at my new school.

Enjoy your evening.

Melanie, I feel ten feet tall right now, actually feel christmassy too LOL. Decs are half up, presents all bought, cards nearly all written and posted, and half a glass of brandy supped.

this forum was and is a godsend, there have been so many times when I have needed answers, my first port of call has always been my sister, bless her, and then melanie's team, but I'm one of those where I always worry about being a pester so I've turned to the forum to ask questions when i thought they were minor enough to be a bother if I rung the team. Even going through my proposal I used the search facility on here to look for answers to a couple of things.

I definately intend on being around for quite some time and if i can help anyone then i will.

Nick what age group do you work with, my lot are foundation stages so are pretty easy to be with, if a little noisy LOL. I'm a supply TA but do a single day as voluntary inthe school each week as it keeps me in with the kids, esp with nursery as they need the consistency to remember me (at least thats my excuse LOL)

My step-daughter teaches the foundation class, and she is permanently ill as there is always some form of bug going round. I couldn't be a teacher for all the tea in China - and really admire those who do, as some of them sound as if they are little terrors.

Please don't end up falling out with each other over this rosepetal. Whether you owe £4,000, £40,000 or £400,000 makes little difference if you cannot afford to repay it all, and therefore worrying over the final amount is not going to get you anywhere.

Your OH will be beating himself up right now, so a big hug is probably in order, together with mutual promises that you are going to get through this togehter and come out the other side together.
