I live two minutes from a certain chocolate factory that makes curly wurlys. On a windy day you can smell the chocolate.mmmm.
Pixie I like parma violets too. Next door buys the multi sweet packs for the kids and they dont like them so they throw them to me next door. Caramacs are nice too but I think they jhave changed the taste from years ago.

Terrible really living so near, but just have never got there. I do go to the factory very occasionally as I can buy cheaply but tend not to as I would buy everything in sight it is so cheap.
Looking forward to seeing you again on saturday, just been packing my little suitcase in preparation, hubby can do the ironing though lol I hate it, and he moans at how I do his trousers, so he gets mine as well.

Skippy, They brought Wispas out again towards the end of last year on a trial basis.

Don't know if they are still available though.

I was going to order some from aquarterof but it said they were discontinued again and I haven't seen them in the shops for ages. I'll keep looking!

I would love to visit the factory - please can we have Frugal Friends meeting nearby so I've got an excuse?!?

Next one near birmingham then skippy and you and dave can come and have a cuppa too. Apparently you can have a go and make your own choccies with all kinds of nice things. Grandaughter and my younger daughter who took them felt sick when they came home.

Dave can't eat chocolate so all the more for me! We'll definitely be in Birmingham for that!

He suffers from migraines, and although he still gets them chocolate made them worse.

I've tried to give it up as I shouldn't eat dairy products but I haven't been very successful. I've managed to give up milk and cream, but I still have to have chocolate now and then!

I sympathise with Dave - I suffer from Migraines and am knocked off my feet for at least 3 days every time...Mars bars used to trigger them for me, but also dairy products don't agree with me. Doesn't stop me from eating though!

Dave has been given some brilliant tablets from the doctor - Maxalt-MLT. They are wafers that dissolve on the tongue and his migraine went almost straight away when he took one. He usually gets them at night and the pain keeps him awake, but after he took this he went straight back to sleep and only had a bit of a fuzzy head in the morning.

I get migraines occasionally, but usually only at the wrong time of the month. I finally went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago and she has prescribed co-dydramol (I think that's right) and if that doesn't help I can have the Maxalt.
