I just wanted to say that I couldn't have got throught the last few months without this forum. Just reading some of your posts has given me great strength and determination and I feel a whole lot better.

As some of you know, my IVA was approved on Monday. For the first time in months, I've slept for a whole night through since Tuesday! I am a lot calmer and my friends at work think I have had a personality transplant (I have actually smiled this week!!).

I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I know I am doing the best thing entering into my IVA. My contributions are £730 per month and now that I am living to a budget, I can actually live! I have cash (yes cash) do my weekly shop, pay the bills on time, fill the car up, treat the little one to a day out now and then - all within my budget. I didn't realise how hard work it was juggling balances from one credit card to another.

For anyone currently going through the process - I can't express how much my life has changed in one single week.

Here's to the next 6 years of pleasant dreams and frugal ways!!!

Thanks to you all for your support x

It's great to be able to answer the phone and not worry who is on the other end, and this week, we had three days without any post at all, and the rest was just junk and my new Bread card.
