The Debt Debate on Friday 2nd May for IVA.co.uk was a huge success and was attended by a large audience of Insolvency Practitioners, Creditors, Journalists, Industry Experts, Students and Forum Members.

IVA.co.uk's latest Debt Debate was another great success, attended by an audience of about 100 Insolvency Practitioners, Creditors, Journalist, Industry Experts and Members of the General Public.
This debate began with an Introduction by Adam Davies, Spokesperson for IVA.co.uk, followed by James Bellini setting the tone for the evening's debate and the topic at hand Miss Selling of Personal Debt Solutions within the Industry.

This frugal friends meeting was very kindly hosted by Melanie Giles and included some of our forum experts.All current issues regarding insolvency were discussed in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Malmaison Hotel, Reading, 12th November, 7pm
This month, Frugal Friends came to Reading. Hosted as always by Adam Davies, the meeting took place on the 12th November at the Malmaison Hotel on Station Road.
The event had a great turnout, with forum members and experts meeting up face to face to talk about the latest debt issues and to share their money saving tips,with drinks and snacks provided by IVA.co.uk.

IVA.co.uk's latest Debt Debate was a great success. Focusing on Debt Education, the expert card engaged in a lively debate on the key debt industry issues. The event was attended by over a hundred Insolvency Practitioners, creditors, journalists, industry experts and members of the public.
The event was held on the 24th October, 3.30pm - 6pm at Browns Courtrooms in Covent Garden, London. Details will be coming soon about our next big event, due to be held in February.

Express Holiday Inn, 8th October, 7-10pm
Providing face-to-face discussions on debt management and careful money management, IVA.co.uk's Frugal Friends Club gives forum members the chance to discuss debt issues and money tips in a relaxed and informal environment, taking place in a different city each month. This meeting took place in Bristol at The Express Holiday Inn.
Britania Hotel, 4th September, 7-10pm
Longstanding forum members met up with Adam Davies in Birmingham for an informal discussion about their personal experiences of debt, with the perils of consolidation loans and creditor scare tactics two of the hot topics debated.

The debate focused on the growing credit culture in the UK, with credit now easier to obtain than ever before and personal debt levels at record levels. It also discussed new developments in the insolvency industry, including the proposed SIVA (Simple IVA).
There was an hour long debate, with lively discussion from the audience.

The second Frugal Friend's Club saw Adam Davies and co. meeting up for another round of drinks and debate, this time in London, with forum members swapping personal stories of how their IVAs were going,and one member giving his insights as someone who previously worked in the banking industry.

The first Frugal Friend' Club meeting, with forum members and site manager Adam Davies meeting up for a sociable discussion on debt issues, focused on family issues – telling family and friends about debt problems, and the affect it can have on relationships and children.
London, 16th - 17th May 2007
IVA.co.uk had a stand at the Credit Today Credit Show on the 16th and 17th May at the Olympia Conference Centre, London, raising awareness of the website and networking with people in the credit industry.
Debt Evening organised 02/05/07
With a card including expert IP Melanie Giles and site manager Adam Davies, this lively debate discussed the contemporary climate of debt management, at the pros and cons of IVAs as a debt solution for consumers.
London, 29th Janurary - 2nd February 2007
IVA.co.uk held the UK's first Debt Awareness Week from 29 Jan - 2 Feb 2007. Consumer groups, MPs and debt consultancies alike backed the initiative, with events taking place throughout the week and national press coverage.

Angered by the excessive bank charges routinely applied to already struggling debtors,IVA.co.uk staged a rally outside of the Office of Fair Trading to protest for consumer rights.
