Noticed advert on side of forum, you can apply for loans and the typical APR is 183.2%!Very bad!
Example: Loan amount: £300
56 weekly repayments of £9
Total amount payable £504
Typical 183.2% APR

sorry if I am being a bit thick, but I can see it either?

Not that I want or can take out any more credit...
Be positive & look after yourself, there are more important things in life than debts....

Ah! thanks Lilly, yes: "Loans £50 to£500 Apply Online - No security req. Tenants welcome. Typical APR 183.2%
www.ProvidentPersonalCredit"

Well I am MOST surprised to see this ad on this site - fair enough the admin who run it may need financial support, BUT that's disgusting!

Hi
They are google ads, unfortunately we can't control the ones that are shown
Lloyds are charging £15 a day, each day upto a maximum of 10 days in a month, for unauthorised ovedrafts on a balance of between £100 and £300 over the limit[approx figurs, but close]
So someone that is £200 above their limit could be charged £150 plus a £15 admin fee on a debt of say £300 in a month...........work out that APR !!!
Interestingly I read that Provident are booming at the moment, gives you an idea of the problems that are building up out there.

Andy

Maybe we could replace the site's income from Google with advertising by Forum Experts of reputable products and services ?
