Noticed advert on side of forum,you can apply for loans and the typical APR is 183.2%!Very bad!
Example: Loan amount: £300
56 weekly repayments of £9
Total amount payable £504
Typical 183.2% APR

Its right at the foot of the home page, I knew it would be provident before I even looked, by the APR.

Well I am MOST surprised to see this ad on this site - fair enough the admin who run it may need financial support, BUT that's disgusting!

I have to agree and have been on the recieving end of this companies wrath, mind you I did sign for the loan.

They are google ads,unfortunately we can't control the ones that are shown
Lloyds are charging £15 a day,each day upto a maximum of 10 days in a month,for unauthorised ovedrafts on a balance of between £100 and £300 over the limit[approx figurs,but close]
So someone that is £200 above their limit could be charged £150 plus a £15 admin fee on a debt of say £300 in a month...........work out that APR !!!
Interestingly I read that Provident are booming at the moment,gives you an idea of the problems that are building up out there.
