Should you only enter an IVA with personal debt or business debt? Someone has told me that you shouldnt have an IVA if you owe the tax office money.

There is no exemption from the IVA process if you owe money to HM Revenue & Customs - indeed this must be included if it is a debt due which is adding to your insolvency.
