I will not be posting on here again, I am too scared too! I posted a question about CCJs on a different forum last week, and got replies from one person who was just absolutely awful to me. Very judgemental and suggested that my current situation is all my own fault, through greed and materialism and they even had the nerve to suggest that the only "honourable" thing I can do now is commit suicide! I was terribly upset and spent about 3 days in tears, but WORSE was to come, this "person" revealed themselves as someone I used to be close to and had deliberately tracked me down on a forum just to be so spiteful, judgemental and awful to me! I am soo hurt and upset!

God only knows what peoples reaction is going to be when I do petition for bankruptcy! I am terrified!

Jane

That experience is abolutely outrageous and needs to be reported to the forum administrators. Can you tell us which particular forum this was posted on?

I hope that you will continue to post on this forum. It is the only one I am involved with, because to be frank I have not seen anything better - and you have had a lot of friendly support and technical advice which I am sure you have found helpful. I suggest that you do not post on the other forum any more, after such a horrid experience.

Jane

I have read every single one of your posts on here over the last few months and I know that nobody on here has ever been horrible to you. I appreciate this was on another forum but now that the person has identified themselves treat it for what it is, a nasty spiteful person who gets their kicks from hurting others. Whatever their reasons for doing this the intention is to hurt you. Try not to let them see that they have succeeded. Continue to post and if anybody found you here and started making nasty comments I'm sure Admin would be onto it immediately.

Best Regards

Dave

Oh Jane, that it awful. As Melanie says that sort of behaviour needs to be reported to the forum administrators as the next person they say something like that to might be low and desperate enough to take their 'advice'. Please can you tell us which forum that was on? I have posted on a couple of other forums, but the people on here are much more caring, and the answers I have got from the experts have always been right.

Please keep posting on here Jane - we care about you, and want to know that you are ok. The person who said those horrible things to you isn't worth worrying about, and I firmly believe what goes around comes around, so they'll get their comeuppance one day.

You are doing the right thing for you and your family - you can hold your head high as. Good luck, and please don't feel you can't post on here x

jane i read that post, and couldn't believe my eyes i also noted he came back under a different name, i wouldn't take anything he said to heart he obviously has nothing better to do than act on peoples misfortune, you did get great support off the other members from that site, i certainly wouldn't let him put you off posting, if thats his opinion let him keep it, we all got into difficulties overspending but he had no right to say what he did, and if it was someone who knew you why don't they have the balls to say it to your face instead of posting on a forum, it wasn't this forum everyone it was debt questions, he was very horrid to jane, but the other posters there did put him in his place but he came back a few days later under a different name, remember the saying also let those without sin cast the first stone, i am sure he will have many skeletons in his closet, if you have to go BR hold your head up high, they don't know what you have been through and anyone who is not supportive of you in your situation is not worth knowing or to be called a friend, at present you need all the support you can get, even it be here by posting your worries, so please don't let one mans horrible jibes put you off being with people who are here to support you through this difficult time
take care and try not to worry too much.

i think they have now removed the offending posts, on that forum.

Hi, Jane. This is also happened to me but in not such a personal way as for you. I also post on http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/sho ... t=sensible
and someone thought it amusing to post a link to my post on http://forum.globalhousepricecrash.com/ ... 17338&st=0

It upset me a bit at first, but it really made me realise how good http://www.iva.co.uk/ is and http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/ is as well.

Please keep posting.

There are some really nasty people out there. One day they might be in trouble and they will want people to help them. I hope that they remember how they have treated others.

Don't take any notice of them Jane and Sensible - you have both faced up to your problems, and you can both be proud of yourselves x
