Hi, I was in an IVA 8 years ago and now want to rent my home out and get another mortgage on another property. Is this possible? If so would a high Street bank lend us or a broker. Thanks in advance.

High street banks do lend, but, as Luluj suggests, a broker would be a safer option as all the lenders have differing criteria regarding old IVA's and, if you approach the wrong ones first, the searches on the credit files will raise red flags to other lenders you approach.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Hi,

We've certainly been able to assist others in similar situations. It's also worth checking out the impact of the second property stamp duty on any additional property purchase.
