Hiya

The last year of mine and my partner's IVA is due to start in May 2010 and we've found out that I'm expecting our first baby in July. Our monthly IVA payment is £352 and we've been offered £2000 by my grandparents but only if we can come to an agreement with our IP to pay off the IVA early. Do you think considering our circumstances and the fact that we will be in our last year shortly that they would accept this as a full and final settlement offer? Many thanks

Hi scrubage and congratulations on your news.

Firstly, as you are due to start your final year, I would see if your IP would accept your payments to date as a full and final agreement for your IVA.

If not, you can always offer them your grandparents money.

Is this a duplicate post with just another heading - or am I suffering from deja vu> I am sure I just answered the same question on another post!

Hi Melanie, sorry I wasn't sure what thread to put this under. Thanks for answering though. I do have another question which I posted later on in my other post though
