Good morning all

i have just received my income expenditure review from the OR , i went BR in january 2008, i wonder what's a resonable figure for housekeeping these days as the food prices sore in the last few months , i declared 380 per month in january but now it's gone over 430 a month i wonder if this figure is acceptable or too high for a familly of 4, also can anyone tell me how muh can i put down for hollidays allowance and clothing.

thanks
NL

I would put down what it's actually costing you, the OR will either allow it or cut it down. As for holidays, we were allowed £70 per month but you might be allowed £80 as it's the limit I think. You can have a look on here, don't think they have changed recently---even though it's costing a lot more to live recently..

The CCCS recommend a figure for a family of two adults and two children - minimum £293 and maximum £445 for housekeeping.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Melanie, we average about £425 a month so that seems to be in the middle of the two figures.
