Hi guys, Quick query about ensuring default dates are right. Who is responsible for putting on correct date of IVA default? The creditor named in IVA or the company they passed debt on to afterwards? I complained to original creditor but they refused to uphold complaint as they sold debt on 6 months...

Yeah they want me to put down average figure of may 18-apr 19 as my salary on my May 19 yearly I & E form. Ironically May onwards have been flat months, so in my opinion May 19 I&E should be my basic salary.

Its McCambridge Duffy. Based on the formula you suggested, they will now be looking 280quid extra a month off me, nearly 50% increase, thats lunacy.

Its ongoing, but tbh its bugging me why they havent done it. Ironically they were able to do it correctly on another account i held with them.

Yeah to be honest its that one that is really bothering me. Especially as they had accepted info i gave and said they would correct things.

Checked credit reports, and few defaults are way off approval date, and one account is permanently on late payment status which i assume means would remain indefinitely on file...

In a similar situation and wondering who the creditor you should be contacting to correct default date?

i have a couple of debts that were sold on to pra group for example. should it be original creditor that i contact, or the new owner of said debt?
