Myself and my husband would like to buy a house next year using the help to buy equity loan scheme. I have an excellent credit rating and my husband had an IVA which should drop oh his credit file Dec this year. we have at least 5% equity in our house to outwards the 20% equity loan the government provide giving us a 75% LTV. Has anyone had any success securing a HTB mortgage after an IVA has gone and what sort of interest rates are we looking at?
Hi Laura.24
We have helped many people in the same position get a mortgage on the HTB scheme.
Please contact me directly at the website below and we can assess your position and get you ready for new year.

IVA Mortgage advice needed? Looking at Right to Buy and completed IVA still on credit files ?
It's entirely possible and the fact that it's on the Help-to-buy scheme isn't really an issue. Anyone who specialises in this area should be able to help you prepare for an application in advance (checking your credit file etc.) and make any necessary arrangements on your behalf.
