hi neil
Having seen your post, I have just had to have another look at the customer section on DFD'd website, glad i did and of course you are spot on; it states: 'We are required to review your circumstances on each anniversary of your IVA. For example, if your IVA was approved on 6 June 2007 we will perform an annual review on June 6, 2008 (and on June 6 in 2009, 2010, and 2011)'. So as with yours, our IVA was agreed in 2006, meaning our last review would have been the one carried out in 2010. This the latest information on their website so must assume is correct. We expecting to undergo another, review - but great if last year was the end of it. Now I think of it I am sure that way back Declan also confirmed this timeframe on a query about the final review with DFD.
How thoughtful of you to share your experiences, only 2 months behind you so hope to follow any updates you might post in the future.
Well I'm just saying it as I see it from experience. Declan did confirm this in another post which I found earlier tonight. I will post the link if I can find it.
At the end of the day I hope nobody takes offence to what I say. I'll do whatever my IP asks of me and my response here is just to a specific question from another poster, again based on experience.
It doesn't matter to me when or how they do an annual review. I'll be co-operative until the day the certificate drops!
Nobody has taken any offence Neil. I would clarify things with DFD though as goalposts have a habit of moving before the websites are updated!

If you feel that you have paid all of the required payments into the IVA, then stop the standing order to them. I would set the money aside so if they do come back to you and tell you that there are arrears then you should have the money available to pay them.
Back to the 'final review' question. I was going to let it lie ... however now I am wondering, is the DFD customer website info up to date?! I thought I would send an email direct to Declan rather than DFD customer services for clarification and have just had an out of office reply stating that he will be out of office until October 24th?? Is Declan away - or is this just the wrong email address? I am new here so can anyone shed any light please on how to proceed?
Declan hasn't been around for a while, I am assuming he is busy.
I would send him an email directly though - he should pick up on it.

Hi Kallis, and thanks. I have actually already emailed Declan on the address held here and received an 'out of office until Oct 22nd' - not 24th as i said previously. Was wondering if he was away until then or if anyone knows if there is another email point of contact?
He may well be away. Unfortunately I don't know of any other point of contact and we can't post email addresses on the forum.

Hello Dizzy – I wonder if that e-mail address is still valid as he has always replied to me using his other e-mail address at DFD’s parent company ‘Fairpoint Group PLC’, which is not listed in the experts section. But for to be ‘out of the office’ until October 22nd seems to be a mistake perhaps? His ‘Twitter’ page hasn’t posted a ‘tweet’ since November 24th either, although he did last post on here 28th January, (I should have been a detective!). I think that you will just have to persist and keep ringing DFD until you get somebody to clarify things for you!

Thanks Pelder. His out of office that came back is fairpoint.co.uk. However, I have done a bit of detective work myself (or just applied common sense!)and the out of office date is friday 22 October which was 2010 not this year! So probably a mistake as you suggest. Oh well, he might still reply otherwise I will redirect the email to DFD customer services. In the scheme of things it isn't an issue if there is another review for us but I would like to be confident that the all the info provided in their advice section for existing customers is up to date and correct.
There's always the possibility that he is ill of course.

Yes it is a long time to leave an out of office. I do hope he isn't ill. Actually if his last post here was 28 January that was only a week ago and I imagine he does have a very busy role within DFD so I will be patient a little longer!
